Bridgit Mendler Announces New Project Called #BabySitIn!


Bridgit Mendler recently spent some time in Guatemala with Save The Children Organization and help save kids who are not as fortunate. The Disney Channel star shared a video of herself informing fans that she has a big announcement to make which took place today.

Bridgit appeared at an Advocacy Summit held in Washington, D.C. which featured herself, Arne Duncan, Cokie Roberts, Andrea Mitchell, Kevin Madden and Stephanie Cutter. During Brigit’s appearance on stage in front of an audience, she was joined by a panel consisting of young youth advocates just like Bridgit herself. After introductions and some speeches, Bridgit finally made her announcement. The star introduced a new project known as #BabySitIn which runs from Mother’s Day through Father’s Day and is a teen volunteer campaign which aims to give parents a break and babies a healthy start in life.

During the summit, Bridgit said:

“I am so excited to launch the #BabySitIn campaign with Save the Children, especially because it empowers kids to change the world by helping other kids.”

Emblem3: Autograph Signing At Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia @EmblemThree

While visiting the fantastic city, they visited the local Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, signing autographs and meeting fans in the hospital’s Seacrest Studios thanks to Ryan Seacrest. Emblem3 were there in support of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, “a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring today’s youth through entertainment and education focused initiatives.” What a great inspiration you guys are!
