Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus has been having one helluva year — she’s been pulled every which way since her controversial MTV VMA’s performance   and now the pop songstress has more to twerk about. MTV has declared Miles the MTV’s Artist of the Year… BOOM! That just happened! And the tongue wagging artist is in good company — One Direction winning the award last year, and Katy Perry the year before.

When MTV executive Amy Doyle (head of MTV’s music and talent programming strategy) was asked about their decision, she replied, “This year, Cyrus was an easy choice…she dominated the music charts and critics’ best-of lists while creating some of the year’s most memorable moments”. Miley did have some unforgettable moments  this year, and there’s sure to be more with her Bangerz Tour just around the corner.

We would like to say, “Congratulations Miley! We love your work and can’t wait to see what you have in store for us in 2014”.
