Disney’s The Pirate Fairy World Premiere Sizzle Reel – WATCH NOW!

As reported earlier, The Pirate Fairy made its world premiere this weekend (Saturday, March 22nd) on the Walt Disney Studios Lot in Burbank, CA. The premiere of DisneyToon Studios animated adventure “The Pirate Fairy,” was executive produced by Academy Award®winner John Lasseter.

The premise of the movie is: a swashbuckling new adventure about Zarina (voice of Christina Hendricks), a smart and ambitious dust-keeper fairy who’s captivated by Blue Pixie Dust and its endless possibilities. When Zarina’s wild ideas get her into trouble, she flees Pixie Hollow and joins forces with the scheming pirates of Skull Rock, who make her captain of their ship. Tinker Bell (voice of Mae Whitman) and her friends must embark on an epic adventure to find Zarina, and together they go sword-to-sword with the band of pirates led by a cabin boy named James (voice of Tom Hiddleston), who’ll soon be known as Captain Hook himself.

Tinker Bell fluttered onto the red carpet at the World Premiere of Disney’s “The Pirate Fairy” at the Walt Disney Studios Lot. She was joined by film talent Christina Hendricks (Zarina), Mae Whitman (Tinker Bell), Carlos Ponce (Bonito), Angela Bartys (Fawn), Pamela Adlon (Vidia), Kari Wahlgren (Sweetpea), Natasha Bedingfield (sung original song “Who I Am”), Peggy Holmes (Director) and Jenni Magee Cook (Producer). Special guests included Samantha Harris (Dancing with the Stars), Ali Landry (Criminal Minds), Eva Bella (Frozen), Aubrey Anderson-Emmons (Modern Family), Maitland Ward (Rules of Engagement), TV personality Daphne Wayans, August Maturo (Girl Meets World) and Chloe Noelle (True Blood). In anticipation of the April 1st release of Disney’s The Pirate Fairy on Blu-ray Combo Pack we’re excited to share a new featurette exploring the legacy of Neverland in the film. Also check out an interactive infographic that takes a look at how Peter Pan and The Pirate Fairy are related.

Tom Hiddleston Sings “The Frigate that Flies” – WATCH NOW!

Tom Hiddleston is the voice of Hook in Disney’s The Pirate Fairy, which is due out on DVD and Blu-Ray April 1st. We were able to get our hands on a behind the scenes clip of him talking about his character Hook, singing “The Frigate Flies”, and the inspiration behind the song. Tom brings this scene to life with his amazing voice, you can really feel Hook’s excitement for adventure.

The premise of the movie is: “When a misunderstood dust-keeper fairy named Zarina steals Pixie Hollow’s all-important Blue Pixie Dust, and flies away to join forces with the pirates of Skull Rock, Tinker Bell and her fairy friends must embark on the adventure of a lifetime to return it to its rightful place. However, in the midst of their pursuit of Zarina, Tink’s world is turned upside down. She and her friends find that their respective talents have been switched and they have to race against time to retrieve the Blue Pixie Dust and return home to save Pixie Hollow.”
