red kettleLast evening, December 6th, The Salvation Army, a non-profit organization that helps those in need, presented an amazing “Rock The Red Kettle” live streaming concert at the L.A. Live. This concert was viewed live by concert goers and via the Internet.

Their Red Kettle concert was rocked by amazing performances from some our favorite music sensations of this current generation. R5, Becky G, Bea Miller and Shawn Mendes happily took the stage in front of these audiences and sang their hearts out in honor of The Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army hosted its fourth annual Rock the Red Kettle Concert at Universal City Walk’s “5 Towers” concert venue in Los Angeles on December 7 at 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET, with performances by musical artists Austin Mahone, Kelly Rowland, Bean, and Coco Jones!

The free show helps raise awareness of The Salvation Army’s 123rd annual Red Kettle Campaign, the oldest charitable fundraiser of its kind in the United States. Money raised during the campaign helps the Army serve 30 million of America’s most vulnerable through an array of programs including food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless and toys for children.

Our field reporter Crystal  Ng, attended the event and was able to get some great pictures of the winter festivities. Check out the pictures below.

Selena Gomez rocked AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas at the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders halftime show on Thanksgiving night (November 28th)! Joined by her dancers and even the Cowboys cheerleaders, Sel powered through a three-song medley of “Walk Like A Champion,” “Slow Down,” and “Come & Get It” (watch here if you missed it!) to promote the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign and looked amazing while doing it. Watch Now: Selena Gomez Performs At Dallas Cowboys’ Halftime Show

Although the Cowboys were down 21-14 against the Oakland Raiders come halftime at their Thanksgiving Day game at AT&T stadium, Dallas native Selena Gomez had her hometown crowd energized as she took the stage for a 3-song medley performance! With dancers, a mid-song costume “change,” and choreography by Charm La’Donna, Sel rocked her way through “Like a Champion,” “Slow Down,” and “Come & Get It.” Not only did she possibly inspire the Cowboys to go on to win the game, 31-24, but she also helped kick off the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign! A worthy cause, indeed.

Selena Gomez Prepares For Thanksgiving Halftime Show: See The First Pics Here!

Tomorrow (November 28th), Selena Gomez will be taking the stage at the 50 yard line of the Dallas Cowboys’s AT&T Stadium to kick off the 123rd Salvation Army “Red Kettle Campaign” with what’s sure to be a killer halftime performance! Sel spent the day at the stadium, getting in six hours of rehearsal time, doing some press alongside Dallas Cowboys Executive Vice President Charlotte Jones Anderson and Commissioner David Jeffrey, the National Commander of the Salvation Army, and hosting a Google hangout with some awesome fans who have also given back through the Salvation Army. Selena Gomez Goes Home For Thanksgiving

Selena GomezAfter being on the road for most of the year for her Stars Dance tour, Selena Gomez is back in her home state of Texas for Thanksgiving but she is not just sitting down and chowing down on Thanksgiving goodies. Sel is still out doing things like going to Arlington, Tx in support of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign.

Sel will be performing during halftime at the Dallas Cowboys’ game tomorrow to kick off the Red Kettle campaign. Be sure you catch the game and also Sel’s performance. Check local listings for times of the game in your area.

Sel did some interviews today from Arlington, Texas where she discusses about raising funds for the Salvation Army.
