Disney Channel To Air ‘Aladdin’ In Tribute To Robin Williams

Disney Channel will tribute to the late actor, Robin Williams with weekend airings of the 1992 animated movie, Aladdin. The movie in which Robin Williams voiced the Genie for will air on Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior several times during the weekend.

The telecast for the movie, Aladdin is as follows:

Saturday, August 16 (9:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel

Sunday, August 17 (11:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., ET/PT) on DisneyXD

Sunday, August 17 (6:00 p.m., ET/PT) and Monday, August 18 (11:00 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney Junior

“Before we start, I wanted to send my love to the family of Robin Williams. I grew up such a fan and it’s amazing what he’s done… brilliant man.”

On Michael Bay’s TMNT adaptation:
“They kept the integrity of the characters and the humor… even as a fan, I was wondering how this [movie] was going to turn out, but I’m elated.”

On spreading love & building esteem:
