Video: Taylor Swift Visits Shelby Huff At Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center!


Country singer Taylor Swift recently visited many children at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. During her visit, Taylor made sure to have some time to visit one of her fans named Shelby Huff. The star was scheduled to stay at the center for one hour but quickly made her stay last for five hours!

During Taylor’s visit, a video was able to catch every in action such as the heart warming interaction between Taylor and Shelby. The video was uploaded with the following description and more details:

“Shelby Huff got a special visitor at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City … Taylor Swift! Taylor was scheduled to be on the pediatric cancer floor for just 1 hour, but instead, she stayed for nearly 5 hours!

Shelby was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia in November 2012. She had a Bone Marrow Transplant October 31, 2013. In January 2014 she developed PTLD (Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disease) a form of Lymphoma and Von Willebrand Disease. She is currently at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC receiving a life saving Clinical Trial.

Taylors visit brightened the day for all the children here on the pediatric oncology floor at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center!”

Taylor Swift Visits Kids At Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center

Taylor Swift spent her Saturday (March 22) just about the best way she could, by visiting New York City’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Swift was seen taking pictures with many patients of the hospital. Although she made no mention of the visit herself, many parents of patients tweeted their appreciation of the kinds acts of Swift.
