No Good 5 (1)

Rugged Pop Artist, Alexa Ferr has wrote a blog post for TeenInfoNet reflecting on her music video shoot for her latest single, “No Good.” The blog post is below! Also be sure to watch the behind the scenes look at her music video shoot which is premiering exclusively on TeenInfoNet!, below!

“Can’t you see, you’re no good for me, good, good for me…..” After spending a total of 12 hours on set and hearing my single over and over again, it’s safe to say whoever was a part of my video or was on set knows the song off by heart!
I recently released my newest single “No Good” off of my sophomore EP, and so far it’s been getting amazing reviews and feedback, which makes me even more excited to release the official music video for it! Now I just want to say, I have never had as much fun on set for anything before as much as I did on the set for this video!
From the moment we all stepped foot on set, the positive vibe around us reassured everyone that this was going to be an amazing video and the entire day ran as smooth as a baby’s bum! From the clothes and hair and makeup to the dancers killing the choreography and to the director for capturing the best shots and the rest of my team who put together this visual… I can truly say I am so proud of my team and I and the work we put into this video, which I know will definitely pay off! It was such a long day on set, but we all had fun, tons of food (thanks to my incredible parents) and we’re all excited for everyone to see the final results!
I want to talk a little bit about my team. First of all, my dancers….. are crazy! They are so incredibly talented and I became super close with them over the past year, which made this experience all the more fun! My creative director Tyce is absolutely crazy and so talented and it was a blessing to get to work with someone who truly had the same vision as I did for this video and knew how to capture the 90s vibe for both the choreography as well as the overall visual for this single. He also co-directed the video with his cousin Scott Jones (who produced the song and edited this video). One of my all-time favourite directors/photographers to work with also helped filmed this video and his name is Blair Caldwell. Everyone needs to check out his work because he is one of the most talented and humble young artists/photographers/directors in the industry right now and i’m glad I had to opportunity to work with him on this project!
To my incredible makeup artist who always knows how to make my face look beat, this goes to Leslie Rodriguez… who is the sweetest, most hardworking makeup artist I know and now I consider her one of my good friends! Last but most importantly, my parents who made this video possible. They flew down to LA to support me on set and have been such a big help and support throughout my entire life and music career and I can’t wait to give back to them all that they truly deserve. I’d be nothing without their love and support and knowing I have that much, truly makes me feel blessed.
Look out for the video, which is coming soon! I hope you like the video, so make sure to share it across your social media sites and with your friends and families!
Thanks so much to everyone for the continuous love and support!
Love always,
Alexa Ferr
