Mariah Carey Sparkles In Jacob & Co. Ring At The 2014 WORLD MUSIC AWARDS

Music sensation Mariah Carey sparkles in a Jacob & Co. multi-color butterfly ring at the 2014 World Music Awards in Monte Carlo. Carey is a huge fan of butterflies (her sixth album was titled, “Butterfly”) and it is no surprise that the starlet chose to wear such a fabulous ring for this special occasion. Mariah just released her newest album titled, “Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse” on May 23rd — just in time for Memorial Day weekend.

Ariana Grande Is A Legend In Japan

Ariana Grande, 'Teen Vogue' February 2014 - Shoot

Ariana Grande is a household name in the music industry — some have even compared her to legendary powerhouse Mariah Carey, because of her meteoric rise and powerful vocals. She hasn’t reached legend status just yet, but maybe the pop songstress will after her trip to Japan. Ariana is headed to the Far East tomorrow and she dropped a not so subtle hit that she might be shooting a music video there tweeting, “I would really like to shoot a music video while I’m in Japan next week…. hmmmm”. We don’t have any confirmation on whether or not she will, but I’m sure we’ll be getting the play by play — Ariana is a very avid tweeter.

Just moments ago she stated, “packing for Japan and reviewing the schedule, I can’t believe I leave tomorrow!! I’ve wanted to go for so long I can’t express my excitement”. It should be a fun trip, especially if her brother Frankie is there.

Be sure to go on Ariana’s Twitter and Instagram page to wish her a safe trip and good luck with her music video shoot.

Ariana Grande in New York City for Tree Lighting @ArianaGrande

Ariana Grande

The lighting of the 81st Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center kicked off the holiday season in New York City. Ariana Grande braved the cold, rainy weather to perform her version of “Last Christmas” and “Love is Everything”.  Grande explained that she and her family watch the lighting of the famous Christmas tree on television each year, and stated that she was thrilled to perform.

Kelly Clarkson, Mariah Carey, Jewel and the Radio City Rockettes also shared their talents for the event.  At 8:58 pm E.S.T., five miles of Christmas lights brightened the New York City skyline.  The tree will remain in the Big Apple until January 7.
