Emma Watson Talks ‘Noah’ On ‘Letterman’: Life-Size Arks, Being “Pregnant,” + Getting A Grip — Watch Now!

After posing for photographers outside and receiving a kiss on the hand from the host himself, Emma Watson sat down beside David Letterman on the Late Show to chat about her work in Darren Aronofsky’s bibical epic Noah on Tuesday evening (March 25) in New York City’s Ed Sullivan Theater!

Between laughs courtesy of the host (and, of course, a little Harry Potter talk!), Emma had some fascinating stories to share about the film — from Aronofsky’s vision for the ark (which was built life-size on Long Island!) to what it was like playing out as realistic a pregnancy as possible in the film (hint: it was exhausting!).

When asked whether or not she watches her own performances, Emma shared a piece of advice Harry Potter co-star Dame Maggie Smith once offered her when she noticed how squeamish and nervous she was about it: “get a grip!” Smith taught her the importance of watching herself on screen in order to learn and become a better actress — and we’d like to thank her for that because Emma is just getting better and better all the time!

Watch the full interview in the video below now and be sure to go see Noah in theaters nationwide this Friday, March 28!
