Millions of people tuned to the 2014 Academy Awards last night, March 2nd, 2014 to watch many actors, producers and films be recognized for their accomplishments and receive an Academy Award – an Oscar!

During the awards show, Disney’s animated movie Frozen  took home the Oscar for Best Animated Feature at the 2014 Academy Awards! Frozen competed with many other nominees in the category which included:

  • The Croods
  • Despicable Me 2
  • The Wind Rises
  • Ernest & Celestine

Congratulations to the team who put together the animated movie and all the people who were involved. In addition, Disney’s Frozen song Let It Go also took home an Oscar for Best Original Song!

The Cast Of Disney’s ‘Frozen’ Celebrate The Music From The Movie In LA – Watch Now!

This past weekend, Los Angeles got some cold temperatures when the cast of Disney Channel’s Frozen celebrated their new movie with live performances in Los Angeles at the Vibrato Grill Jazz Club – for the first time ever.

Kristen Bell (voice of Anna), Idina Menzel (voice of Elsa), Josh Gad (voice of Olaf) and Santino Fontana (voice of Hans) took the stage to perform songs such as Let It Go from the movie. The cast was accompanied by a live orchestra conducted by David Metzger.

The movie hit theaters Nov. 27, 2013 and has earned more than $900 million worldwide! The soundtrack from Frozen even made it to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and has remained No. 1 for four non-consecutive weeks making it the longest running No. 1 film soundtrack since 2003.

cimorelliThe new YouTube sensation, the Cimorelli band, is made up of six sisters, Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, Lauren, and Dani. The girls have done many covers of singles and their most recent one is from Disney’s original movie, Frozen, and they are singing one of the tracks from the movie – Let It Go. Demi Lovato is the original singer of the track but we are sure Demi would approve of these girls singing the track.

Demi Lovato Gets The Nod For Oscar Nomination

We are almost 3 weeks into the new year and pop songstress Demi Lovato is already cleaning up — she has two People Choice Awards and she’s #1 on the Billboard Club charts. But her accolades don’t stop there, yesterday the Oscar nominations were announced and a song she worked on ‘Let It Go’ from the animated movie Frozen has been nominated for Best Original Song. Unable to contain her excitement she took to Twitter, “WOW.. AMAZING DAY!! Hearing the news about Oscar nod for a song I got 2 be apart of AND Neon Lights went #1 on Billboard club charts!! #2014”. CONGRATULATIONS Demi, it couldn’t have happen to a better person.

demiDisney Parks held its annual Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. The parade was broadcast live on ABC on the morning of Christmas. In case you missed the parade because you were busy opening all the gifts from Santa, we got you covered with a video of Demi Lovato performing her Christmas song, “Let It Go,” at the parade! Demi Lovato Talks With Radio Disney At “Frozen” Premiere @ddlovato

Demi LovatoThe red carpet premiere of the new Disney movie, “Frozen,” was last week. Many stars appeared on the red carpet for the premiere including Demi Lovato! Demi has a song on the soundtrack titled “Let It Go.” Radio Disney was there catching up with some of the stars and they were able to talk to Demi.  She tweeted: “I had such a fun time at the Frozen premiere last week. This movie is AMAZING!!!! And now you can get the soundtrack!” Check out the video from Radio Disney with Demi Lovato being interviewed!
