When asked about the inspiration behind the song, Jordan JAE shared,

“As a teen we often feel misunderstood and are frustrated by the inability of our parents to understand us.  There are times when we just blindly stumble through life not truly understanding what’s expected of us.  We’re constantly told that we are either to young to understand, or that we need to grow up and learn to deal.  As a result we can feel fenced in and unsure of ourselves.  I know I do.  This song is about jumping over that fence, secure in ourselves and ready to take on life and everything it has to throw at us.”

Fifteen-year-old Jordan JAE exploded onto the music scene this March when she unleashed her sassy debut single, “Said No One Ever.” Today, August 12th, the talented teen is back with her second single, “Makin Me Crazy.” The song was co-written by Max Wagnerand Ari Zizzo; with additional production by New York City and Miami based music production houseNoise Club and mixes by multi-platinum producer/engineer/mixer, Brian Malouf (Michael Jackson, Queen, Madonna).

It’s an undeniably danceable anthem to individuality with an empowering message to fans about being confident in who you are. Jordan explains, “Writing Makin’ Me Crazy with Ari and Max was such a great experience.  The song is about how trying to conform to all the unrealistic standards we put on each other can really make you crazy!  Nobody’s perfect and we all have our insecurities, so we shouldn’t let people get us down with their judgmental and hurtful opinions.  We just need to remember that we are all worth the love and respect of others even though we’re not perfect.”

The new song will be available on iTunes next week and the music video will be out on August 18th. in the meantime you can listen to the new single here, http://bit.ly/1sRzzeF.

NYC’s new pop sensation, 14-year-old Jordan JAE, has been attracting attention with the recent release of her debut single “Said No One Ever”. The upbeat, empowering track was co-written and produced by Grammy nominated duo Kinetics & One Love (Eminem, B.o.B, Pitbull, Sean Kingston, Melanie Martinez). Jordan JAE partnered up with Queens-based alternative hip-hop band Oxymorrons and DJ/production team After Them for a special dance remix of the track, Jordan JAE explaining, “I thought it would be really cool to hear other peoples take on ‘Said No One Ever’. To hear it in a completely new light and redone in someone else’s vision is really interesting and amazing.”

DJ Mr. Hernandez of Oxymorrons and After Them adding, “It was so much fun creating this remix because of that piercing hook ‘said no one ever’. After Them being the future of production with genre blending style of the Oxymorrons, helped us create a battle of the beats between trap, b-more, dance, R&B, hip hop, and reggae. We feel we did a great job fusing all of these genres together.”
