China McClain Receives A NAACP Image Award Nomination For ‘How To Build A Better Boy!’

Disney Channel star from Disney’s ANT Farm and Disney’s original movie, How To Build A Better Boy, China McClain, has been nominated for a NAACP Image Award! The network tweeted the photo above and wrote the following message:

“Congratulations also go to @chinamcclain for her @naacpimageaward nomination for her role in #HowToBuildABetterBoy!!!”

The nomination is for a performance by a youth in a young/children’s program. After receiving the news of her nomination, China shared her excitement on Twitter by tweeting:

“So excited about my @NAACP nomination for #HowToBuildABetterBoy ! Please join and donate to support this organization”

Kelli tweeted a picture of her new kitten and she decided to name him Jesse! She tweeted:

‘How To Build A Better Boy’ Draws Big Ratings For Disney Channel

The Disney Channel original movie produced successful ratings last Friday. The movie, How to Build A Better Boy averaged 4.56 million for its 8 p.m. time slot. This made it television’s most-watched program of the day among kids 2-11 (2.5 million), kids 6-11 (1.9 million) and tweens 9-14 (1.7 million).

The movie which stars, China Anne McClain and Kelli Berglund, tells the story of two young tech whizzes who computer-program the perfect boy and in the process trigger a national incident.
