Selena Gomez recently found herself in a bit of controversy when she posted her views on the current conflict in Gaza. Selena took to her Instagram recently and posted a photo saying to “Pray For Gaza”. Some fans began tweeting her saying that they would unfollow because of her post and taking sides.

Selena quickly let her fans know that she wasn’t taking sides, only saying her opinion by posting a second photo of herself meditating on the beach saying, “And of course to be clear, I am not picking any sides. I am praying for peace and humanity for all!”

We think that Selena handled the situation with class while still allowing her voice to be heard. What do you think of celebrities posting their views on politics? For or against? Let us know in the comments below!

Despite Controversy Over Bangerz Tour, Miley Cyrus Brings The Naughtiness To Anaheim — See The Pics!

Controversy surrounding Miley Cyrus? What else is new? It’s the attitude Miley herself took with critics and parents alike who slammed her Bangerz Tour for being too racy and provocative… and even sent up a rallying cry for the whole run to be cancelled in its first week out on the road! Before hitting the stage last night (February 20) at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA, Miley hit back on Twitter with two pointed messages:

That said, she (and most of her fans, it seems) ignored some religious protestors that showed up outside the arena toting signs that read “Believe in Jesus and Live!” and “Faith in Jesus Saves!” while handing out free Bible booklets to the line of Smilers waiting to head in to their seats. Miley, as always, went on to give as wild a performance as her fans have come to expect from her, celebrating not only another successful stop on the tour but her album Bangerz going platinum!

“Exhausted,” she tweeted out this afternoon, “I leave everything on the stage every night. Nothing left to give today. Happy to have a day to just be.”

Check out Miley giving it her all (and then some) in the gallery below now. Have you been to see her Bangerz show yet? We want to hear what you think!

Miley Cyrus Bears Body + Soul For ‘W’ Magazine — See The Racy Shoot + Read The Article Now!

Miley Cyrus continues her domination of the media and pop culture by landing yet another magazine cover — but this time, with a much more adult feel. W magazine features “America’s baddest bad girl” on the cover of their March 2014 issue, lounging in bed, covered only (and barely) with a sheet, platinum blonde hair and eyebrows completing the bombshell look.

The cover gives a taste of what the rest of the shoot is like — raw, uncensored, mature, and yet another step in Miley’s growth. And yes, there’s skin. Plenty of it. (Including one definitely NSFW intentional nip slip.) Though the shots are much more tasteful and high fashion than her Maxim outtakes — so we’re totally on board!

Inside, readers will find an in depth profile by Ronan Farrow, who spent some time with Miley in early December while she was kicking off a string of Jingle Ball performances, starting with KIIS 102.7’s at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. The pair talked candidly about everything from social media culture to racial controversy, from her reclusive ways to her desire to make an impact on… well, something. But it’s really Farrow’s keen observations that make the piece a must read for any fan or interested bystander looking for a some insight into the real girl behind the Miley mania.

Check out the photos and read the article below now — and let us know what you think about what Miley (and Ronan) had to say:
