Christina Perri Releases ‘Burning Gold’ Video — WATCH NOW!!

Christina Perri has released the companion video for “Burning Gold” – the second single from her current album ‘head or heart.’ In this video where art imitates life, Christina is an aspiring singer who works as a cocktail waitress in a down and dirty truck stop to make ends meet. She too often finds herself gazing through the window of the bar, watching life pass her by, thinking that there’s got to be more to life. When a famous singer walks in one day with his crew of back-up singers, Christina, in a moment of boldness, steps up to the mic and sings. From there, Perri becomes a star & the rest is history.

Perri is instantly thrown into the whirlwind life of traveling the world and performing – slowly inching her way into the spotlight as the star. Amidst her glamourous life, she catches her famous boyfriend being unfaithful.  She grabs the keys to his Porsche and drives away – across the empty desert, with no destination in mind. Christina emerges, walking away from a cloud of billowing smoke – leaving the burning car and her new life behind her, proving that all that glitters isn’t always gold…

Christina will join Demi Lovato as a special guest on the next leg of her blockbuster “World Tour” this fall as well as One Republic’s “Native Summer Tour: which gets underway this month. Perri debuted “Burning Gold,” with live performances on NBC’s TODAY, and LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS on Monday [July 28th]. In some more exciting news, it has been 4 years since Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance used Perri’s “Jar Of Hearts” as a backdrop on the show which lead to her discovery. To celebrate – Perri will return to the stage where it all begin on Wednesday, August 9 to perform “Burning Gold.” Her critically-acclaimed second studio album, “head or heart,” also features “Be My Forever feat. Ed Sheeran” and the Platinum-certified first single “Human.”
