The lighting of the 81st Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center kicked off the holiday season in New York City. Ariana Grande braved the cold, rainy weather to perform her version of “Last Christmas” and “Love is Everything”. Grande explained that she and her family watch the lighting of the famous Christmas tree on television each year, and stated that she was thrilled to perform.
Kelly Clarkson, Mariah Carey, Jewel and the Radio City Rockettes also shared their talents for the event. At 8:58 pm E.S.T., five miles of Christmas lights brightened the New York City skyline. The tree will remain in the Big Apple until January 7.
#GivingTuesday is a national day of the “giving season”. This year the event took place on Tuesday, December 3, 2103 (the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving). Katy Perry celebrated the second annual #GivingTuesday at the Snowflake Ball hosted by UNICEF. Perry arrived in a red-caped gown, but performed her single “Unconditionally” in a silver gown.

Francesca Capaldi joined her “Dog with a Blog” cast mates in Disneyland yesterday. Before her arrival to the park, Francesca painted her fingernails in a pink, sparkly polish, stating she wanted “magical nails to go with the magic of Disneyland”.
Members of the cast posed for pictures with fans and enjoyed the rides. Blake Michael, who plays Tyler on the show, shared a piece of advice: “Don’t ride California Screaming three times in a row after eating.” G. Hannelius and Regan Burns were also on hand; however, one cast member was noticeably absent — Stan the Dog! No fear, you can watch Stan and the cast Friday night on Disney!

Taylor found a gift in her dressing room from the jolly ol’ elf himself (or her Secret Santa). She was so excited with the Beach Boys album gifted to her that she ran down the halls screaming “Santa”.
Harry Styles was one of the winners at the British Fashion Awards held last night. Stylish Harry wore a St. Laurent ensemble and went home with the Public-Voted British Style Award. The pop-star, claiming he only owns two pairs of jeans, was shocked by the win, stating, “If people like what you’re wearing, it is nice…quite kind.”
