Justin Bieber Detained By U.S. Customs Officials After Flight From Japan

Justin flew into LAX airport earlier today on an Air Singapore flight from Tokyo; the Canadian born pop star was met with a warm reception, but by the last people he wanted to see. E! News broke the story and reported “U.S. Customs officials have been questioning the 20-year-old for the last two hours inside the airport’s Tom Bradley International Terminal. Bieber’s entourage has been standing around waiting for him”.

There has been no official word as to why Justin was detained and questioned for hours, except to say, “the agency cannot comment on an individual’s processing due to privacy laws, “our CBP officers are charged with enforcing not only immigration and customs laws, but they also enforce over 400 laws for 40 other agencies and have stopped thousands of violators of U.S. law.”

Justin seems to be on the radar of all local law enforcement, and now the U.S. Customs agency has joined the party. My sources are all in agreement in their belief that Justin is being unfairly targeted and harassed. I don’t have a criminal justice degree, and I’m all for keeping the country safe from all threats (foreign and domestic), but I’d think these agencies could put their time and money to better use.

Let’s hope it wasn’t anything serious and Justin can back to do what he does best — making good music.
