Hilary Duff Teases A Possible ‘Lizzie Mcguire’ Reunion

Hilary duff

After a decade without Lizzie Mcguire, Hilary Duff has confirmed that she would love to do a Lizzie Mcguire reunion. Checkout the interview with Huffington Post featuring Hilary Duff below, in which she talks about her new music, SAA campaign and a possible Lizzie Mcguire reunion.

So why did you want to get involved with Trident?

I think hearing about the work that Trident does with Smiles Across America got me inspired because oral health care is really important for kids. I have a two-year-old, and I know how important it is to get them to brush their teeth and how challenging it can be.

Any tips for other parents?

I have two. It’s starting early … and always try to make a game of it. Challenge him.

I’ll be like, “I bet you can’t stand on one foot brushing your teeth.” And he’s like, “Yes, I can! Yes, I can! Yes, I can!” You know they want to be able to do everything. They love a challenge. Sometimes we sing songs, and some days it’s easier than others.

Since this is Trident, have you, in your career, ever requested to be paid in Layers?

[To publicists] Can you guys arrange that for me?

[To HuffPost] When they called me, I was actually like, “But you don’t understand. This is the gum I buy.” I was so excited because when you get to be a part of something you’re actually a fan of … it’s ideal. But no, I have never requested to be paid in Layers.

The program sounds awesome, but let’s get to what everyone has been wondering for years. Would you be interested in doing a “Lizzie McGuire” reunion?

Would you pay money for that?

In a heartbeat.

[Laughs.] I love it! I would be totally open to it. My schedule is a little busy right now. But um … why not?

I mean, so many people loved her. I loved her. Honestly, working on that show, I got so strong with my physical comedy and all the things that they would throw at me. I got covered in goo every week, and I got, like, smashed in the face with a locker every single week. And all this, I mean it was a really, really fun show. And obviously people really loved her. Maybe a “Lizzie: Where Are You Now?” like 10 years later.

Team Gordo or Team Ethan?

Lizzie always chooses the right way. Personally? Ethan!

No, no, I’m just kidding. I always choose the good guy.

Are you sure?

Yeah, the naughty side of me wants to be like, “The hot guy,” but then I always choose the good guy.

Why wasn’t Miranda in “The Lizzie McGuire Movie”?

Oh my gosh, I love how this is just flashback “Lizzie McGuire” stuff. You know what, I don’t really know, but she was definitely missed.

I think we should just start over, and you should come in here, and I should just put a bunch of butterfly clips in my hair and wear like mismatching jeans and top.

Wow, that would actually be awesome.

So for your new album, how would you say it’s different from the others, and is there a track that defines it?

The album is very different. My last record was seven years ago. I haven’t just frozen in time. Being a mother has given me a confidence I didn’t have before, so maybe that came across in the studio for sure. Being more, you know, ballsy with what I have to say. And not holding back.

There’s a song called “Belong” that I really love. It sounds cheesy when I talk about it, but it’s not cheesy at all, and it’s more about just like not waiting for anything. Just going for it and not holding back. Like I said, it sounds cheesy when I talk about it, but it’s not at all.

So, Hilary … Why not take a crazy chance?

Why not do a crazy dance?

Oh my God. Thank you. This has been the greatest moment of my life.

Well, where’s the dance?

You really want me to dance?

Yeah! You put me on the spot!

[HuffPost reporter proceeds to shake what his mama gave him by performing an original dance move called "The Earthquake."]

Oh my gosh! Wow! I’m going to teach Luca the “Earthquake.” I think he would really like it.

Ed Sheeran Visits ‘Ryan Foundation’ In NC, Sings For Sick Children

Ed Sheeran truly has a heart of gold! Ed is known for not only singing, songwriting and touring the world, he also always takes time to give back to his fans and do lots of charity work across the globe. Ed recently stopped by the studio in Charlotte, North Carolina before his performance in NC. He also signed, took pictures with and performed for the sick children who were apart of the Ryan Foundation. The adorable patients were excited to spend time with Ed, and Ed in turned was very happy to meet them as well at Levine Children’s Hospital.

Ed was kind enough to be candid with the kids and allow them to ask whatever quotes they had for him saying, “You can ask whatever you want! It doesn’t have to be musical – it can even be a very awkward question that will make everyone feel uncomfortable.” How sweet! Check out the wonderful photos, as well as the video clip of Ed ‘multiplying’ the children’s happiness below!

Demi Lovato Chats With ‘Radio’ About Music, Touring & Her Goals!

Demi Lovato has been quite a busy gal touring all over the world, recording new music and more lately. Luckily, Demi still has time set aside to chat! Demi recently sat down with ‘Radio‘s Colleen M. Quill to talk about what she’s current reading, listening to, tweeting and what she has in store for fans on this tour! Check out what Demi had to say below:

How do you keep the tour fresh for yourself and your fans?

Every night is different because I’m in a new city and performing in front of a new crowd. Compared to my Neon Lights Tour, which wrapped earlier this year, fans can expect a few more surprises during my World Tour as well as special guests Christina Perri, MKTO and Becky G.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have an amazing crowd at every show. The energy definitely affects my performances in a positive way – there’s no better feeling than performing in front of an audience and seeing my fans singing my songs with me.

What are your top three favorite Demi Lovato songs? Do they change depending on whether you are performing currently?

They do change. Right now I am enjoying “Really Don’t Care” because it’s such a fun song to perform. I also love “Nightingale” and “Neon Lights.”

What is going through your head as you perform?

For me, it’s about connecting with my audience, focusing on the music and putting on a great show for my fans.

What are you reading right now?

I am reading a great book called Within: A Spiritual Awakening to Love and Weight Loss [by Dr. Habib Sadeghi with a forward by Gwyneth Paltrow] right now.

What songs are catching your ear?

“Stay With Me” by Sam Smith is currently one of my favorites.

When you’ve achieved so many things, how hard is it to set goals?

It’s not hard at all. There are still many goals I want to achieve. I would love to win a GRAMMY one day, maybe even an Oscar. Another goal of mine is to continuously improve myself every day and become a better person than I was yesterday.

Every day is a blessing and I am so grateful for all of the amazing moments. When I look back on how far I’ve come, it does seem surreal – but more than anything, I’m honored to be in the position where I can help others.

You’ve grown up in front of the camera, what are some of your tricks to surviving public scrutiny?

Over the last couple of years, I’ve learned that other people’s opinions of me really don’t matter. Right now, I’m focusing on making myself happy and becoming a better person every day. Staying positive and staying strong.
